Our standard

The dog comes before the claim. We use primary sources, state uncertainty plainly, and introduce Pup AI only when keeping a record can genuinely help an owner care for their dog.

Pup AI publishes practical guides about keeping accurate records for conversations with a veterinary team. The guides are educational. They do not diagnose a dog, recommend a product, calculate a dose, or replace veterinary care.

How topics are selected

We use measured search demand, recurring owner questions, current search results, and the real capabilities of Pup AI. A topic is published only when it has a distinct purpose, can be answered from reliable sources, and connects naturally to factual record keeping. We reject topics whose medical risk exceeds our expertise or evidence.

Sources and evidence

Health statements are grounded primarily in veterinary associations, regulators, peer-reviewed research, and other original professional guidance. Competitor pages and community discussions may reveal questions or confusing language, but they do not carry the factual authority. Every guide lists the primary sources used.

Authors and review

Guides are written and fact-checked by the Pup AI Editorial Team. Unless a named credentialed reviewer is shown on the article, the article has not been reviewed by a veterinarian. We state that limitation visibly rather than implying medical authority.

AI-assisted drafting

Automated tools may help organize research, compare source coverage, or draft language. A human is responsible for source selection, claim verification, product accuracy, editing, and publication. We do not publish unreviewed generated text or use automation to invent experience, citations, dates, or medical certainty.

Product boundaries

Pup AI records information the user enters. It does not verify a product, determine whether a substance is appropriate for a dog, diagnose a condition, recommend a treatment, or tell someone to start, stop, change, or repeat a dose. Product references in guides must preserve those boundaries.

Corrections and updates

Material changes receive a truthful updated date. If you find an error, outdated source, or unclear safety statement, contact Pup AI Support. We review reported issues and correct them when warranted.
